I just finished putting names on 100 mini stockings (some of the stockings with multiple names) for our Love, Elijah Holiday Remembrance Tree and posted a picture of some of them.
Now I have more names coming in and am going to have to get more stockings!!!
It both warms and breaks my heart.
It is beautiful to know that all these children will be remembered this Christmas, but heartbreaking that they won't be at home with their parents and families.
If anyone wants to donate some mini stockings, they are 4 for $1 at Wal-Mart and if you are in Natchitoches I will meet you somewhere to pick them up.
Or, you can also send a few dollars to help to our paypal.

Anything helps, and I would sooo appreciate it. (and so would all the other angel moms and dads)
We are going to continue to make the stockings throughout the week and then Friday we will get them put up at The Four Seasons Christmas Tree Farm in Natchitoches.
Today I am still kind of recovering from the lack of sleep leading up to yesterday's craft fair and I am kind of bummed that we missed the turning on of the lights downtown, but after we eat the brownies I am baking, the kids and I are going to load up in the car and go drive through and take a look.
Other than that, not much has really happened today.
Oh...well my shoe broke...lol. But yep. That is about it.
Tomorrow will be a cleaning day and then I need to start planning for Christmas Festival which is less than 2 weeks away.
Thank you for all your continued prayers. Continue to pray for our world. Pray for my family. Pray for me. And always always, pray for my sweet Elijah.
Thank you.
Gabriel asked me today if you like corndogs.
I said I'm sure you do.
I haven't met a kid who doesn't...but your brother Alex doesn't like Mac and Cheese and I haven't met a kid who doesn't like that either.
I wonder what your favorite food would be.
Would you be as picky as I was?
Or would you be as brave as Alex and try new things.
I really miss you.
Like every single second miss you.
I love you my boogie.
Always
<3
