464: Headed East

It is 6:01pm.

The car is packed (mostly) and we are getting ready to head to Florida for a couple of days and then head to Georgia and then back to Louisiana for Christmas.

I am a little tired at the thought of all that driving, but of course I am excited to.

I pray everything goes smoothly.

Anyways, today was our Diaper Drive benefiting The Women's Resource Center of Natchitoches.

I am really thankful for the few people that came by, and extremely thankful for Ya Ya's Children's Boutique for helping us out.

I wish we could have done more....but that is nothing new.

One day I will make the difference I want to make.

Anyways, I have to figure out what we are going to eat before we leave, so I am just going to make a short blog.

Just send us some prayers and positive thoughts as we travel.

We don't have a lot of money, so it is not going to be a big vacation or anything--we are just going because on the 19th The Florida Mall is helping us do some acts of kindness for Elijah and I really don't want to miss it. Also we are going to visit family in Georgia (and they always end up spoiling our kids).

It should be a good trip--just a short one.

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for my family.  Pray for me. And always always pray for my sweet Elijah.

Thank you.

Oh sweet boy.
I hope you see that I am really trying.
I hope that you know I care.
I hope you know that if I had the money or the power to,
I would do so much more than I have.
I will change the world for you kiddo.
I promise you.
I miss you so much.
Love you more.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
