Today we celebrated my mom's birthday! I cooked a big dinner for her and the boys kind of helped me make cake. It was delicious and it was really nice to get to spend some time with my mom.
P.S. If you want a really easy and impressive chicken dish to make? Get chicken breast, cut a slit in the top of them, and then stuff them with Owen's Italian Sausage. Then season the whole thing with a bbq rub or Tony's (or both). Stick it in the oven at 350 and bake away! So yummy, and it looks much more impressive than it really is lol.
Earlier today we did our last volunteer day of the month for the food pantry. The local Boy Scouts happened to be there too, which is great because we were actually looking for information earlier this week on how to get Alex joined again. So Alex kind of got to meet some of the boys he would be in the troop with, and he was really excited about that.
And of course it was great to keep building Elijah's legacy of kindness.
Today was a really great day and I am thankful.
I wanted to leave you guys with a lot more inspiration today, but all I could seem to muster up was a delicious chicken recipe lol.
I am working on that, but for now I send you all love and sunshine!
Go out there and be happy. Eat Ice Cream. Drink your Greens. Do more of what you love. LAUGH. Spread kindness for Elijah and CHANGE THE WORLD!
Pray for our world. Pray for my family. Pray for me. Pray for you! And always always pray for my sweet sweet Elijah!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
Oh sweet sweet boy.
Oh my boogie.
I love and miss you more than words could say.
Sending you lots of love tonight.
Keep sending those little hearts.
I love them.
Thank you.
