545: Changing The World

It is 7:21pm.

We leave early tomorrow to go back home.

I will catch up on youtube videos when I get there. I will also be making some Grand Canyon Family Travel Hack videos too!

Until then, here is a video of the sunset from our sunset your the other night:

I'm getting ready for bed now because I had a hard time breathing last night, and I seem to have a cold or something today.

But I wanted to share a post from my Instagram that I posted earlier today (incase you missed it).

And I also wanted to say, if you struggle with child loss, grief, anxiety, depression, or any other life altering circumstances or tragedies in your life that are "invisible" to the rest of the world, you are so brave to get out of bed in the morning and live your life. Don't let other people stop you from being brave--no matter how harsh their cruel words can be. You are loved! You are special! You are important! You matter!

"Today is our last day here at The Grand Canyon. It has been a day full of anxiety and tired sick children. We attempted to visit the beautiful desert view tower.

As I was attempting to enjoy the view, I overheard a young man say "someone should kill that thing," referring to my five year old son who was making loud wailing noises because he was tired and bored. I bravely stood up to the young man before breaking down in to fit of tears myself. I told him, "That is my son your talking about. And I don't think I would like that much seeing as I have already lost one."

This trip has taken a lot of bravery for me. Heck, my everyday life takes a lot of bravery. You honestly have no idea what people are going through, so just be kind.

For every hateful thing you say, you have wasted a moment to make this world a better place. For every moment you judge, you have missed an opportunity to learn a lesson about compassion and understanding. For every complaint you make, you are missing an opportunity to be thankful for the beautiful gift of life that you still have.

My son Elijah no longer has any of these opportunities. However, even though he does not walk this earth, I use his love everyday to stay brave and live mine. I promised my sweet boy I would change the world in his love and kindness and I am not letting anything stand in my way!

We love you Elijah! Everywhere and always!"

Alright guys, time for some rest. I have a long drive ahead of me tomorrow.

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for our country. Pray for my family. Pray for me. Pray for you! And always always pray for our sweet sweet Elijah.

Thank you!

If people only knew how much it hurts to live without you,
and how heavy their words can be.
But nothing will stop me from changing this world for you.
Nothing.
I love you so much.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
