554: School Bus Livin' Day Two

It is 10:20pm.

I am listening to Phish, "I miss you," and I swear it was written for me and Elijah.

If you have ever lost someone you love, you will really appreciate this song.

School bus livin' day two has been nice. Hot, but nice.

It will take some getting used to during the day for the kids. And we really need to bring over some board games and Lego/toys to play with because there was a lot of "I'm bored" moments today.

Also, there has been a lot of whining to watch "videos," lol. I did cave later in the afternoon for a little while, but I am trying to cut back (again) on electronics. 

I really don't mind them watching youtube in the evenings, because they are learning some pretty cool things and also it kind of reinforces that "you can be or do anything" thought I am trying so hard to put in their heads ;) 

But we did manage to get outside and play today at the playground. And we helped my dad plant some new fruits and veggies in the garden too.

For the most part, I am just trying to take life day by day right now. It is really crazy how happy this school bus has made me lol. 

I know we still have some hard days ahead...but focusing on the present is really helping me emotionally right now.
