582: Sunflowers for Easter

It is 7:26pm.

We went ahead and celebrated Easter today and it turned out to be pretty nice.

The kids had a blast decorating cupcakes, playing games and eating tons of candy.

I grilled some ribs and made some chicken and sausage for what was kind of my birthday celebration (my birthday is in one week).

And we planted some sunflowers for Elijah.

I miss him so much. Especially on days like these...

We will be posting a video later on youtube of snippets from today's activities. Right now we are going to go pack our bags and get ready to travel down the road to go see Levi's granny and mom for another Easter celebration tomorrow.

Love you all and hope you have a beautiful and peaceful Easter with people you love.

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for our country. Pray for my family. Pray for me. Pray for you! And always always pray for my sweet sweet Elijah.

Thank you!

Oh sweet boy,
I hope your sunflowers grow as high as the school bus.
Maybe this year the squirrels wont dig them up...lol.
I know you were just trying to make them happy, giving away all your seeds.
I love you so much.
You inspire me more and more everyday.
Happy Easter Elijah.
We got you a book.
I will be sure to read it to you tomorrow.
I love you.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
