591: Ripping Up School Bus Seats

It is 11:09pm.

Today we (mostly Levi) finished ripping the school bus seats apart and got the metal frames ready for recycling.

We found some interesting and really gross things in those seats lol. My favorite was a little piece of paper that read, "How to tell if a girl really like you," and then there were no further instructions. Lol.

Even though it was kind of a pain in the behind, I know that keeping the seats and taking them apart was a smart decision.

I decided to keep the plywood that we found in the middle of each seat and make angels or butterflies and lady bug signs out of them to sell at the farmer's market. If I price it right and make enough of them, I could potentially make my money back for the bus--if they all sell. (plus there is whatever small profit we will make for recycling the metal).

But it was a lot of work and I am super tired...

Yet, here I am still working on youtube videos and blogs one hour away from midnight. lol.

Oh! I forgot to share this video yesterday:

Incase you can't read the title, it is a time lapse of our second (and final) day of laying floors on the school bus. It was on my birthday, and it was wonderful.

Tonight Alex and I made a video of our act of kindness that we did for Elijah, but it still has a while to go before it uploads so I will share it with you tomorrow.

Even though I haven't had many words of inspiration lately, I hope that us working hard on this bus and turning it into a home while chasing our crazy dreams has inspired you somehow--because I believe in each and every one of you and I know that you really can do just about anything your silly little heart desires.

I love you all.

Sweet dreams <3

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for our country. Pray for my family. Pray for me. Pray for you! And always always pray for my sweet Elijah.

Thank you.

Look at that smile.
You were the sweetest and best baby ever.
I love and miss you so much.
Always my boogie.
Always.
<3

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
