I finally finished setting up our "office" space next door at my dad's house, which now doubles as a "learning space" for the kids. I went and got a cheap book shelf, rug, and paw patrol table for the kids to sit at and Gabriel is in love lol. The other two seem okay with it all...Alex just basically uses this room to disappear and play on his computer--which is about to come to a stop lol.
I also brought our food over here which will help with space issues I was having now that I am really committed to my art work. I cook over here anyways, so it is less trips back and forth to the bus when I forget to grab something I need lol. It's kind of a catch all space I guess. But it feels cozy. Now to figure out a way to make a drop down background to fall over Levi's teaching backdrop so I can make some youtube videos...or I will just have to figure out a time to make those on the bus since all my art stuff is there? I don't know... no need to rush all that. I still have several projects I am working on right now. ANDDDDD I am getting ready for my retreat!
I am a little nervous right now because my bank has decided to put a hold on my account and I need that money to make this retreat happen, and to mail off orders I have. So please please please send love and prayers that this all gets dealt with ASAP. I am a little peeved at the bank, but I am trying my best to not focus too much attention on it, because I need to stay positive right now. And to be honest, the organizing and painting today helped a lot. I did have a few freak out moments, but for the most part I did pretty good! And I feel happy right now.
Tomorrow I hope to finish all my ornaments, and my mini pumpkins. I put out a video on my artist Facebook page today asking if anyone in the Natchitoches area knows of someone who might want a pumpkin for Halloween. I hope to get some feedback. Otherwise, Alex and I will just find random houses to leave them at lol. It will be fun no matter what happens... and a nice little tribute to Elijah for Halloween.
Today I painted my snoopy pumpkin, and a little yellow school bus <3 I also painted a pretty turquoise and gold pumpkin. I want to paint a sunflower pumpkin and an owl, but I'm not 100% sure what I will end up painting lol.
Alright, everyone else is in bed right now, so I guess I should probably go take my bath and get ready for bed too. It has been a really nice day. I got my hair cut by an awesome lady, and I am really proud of this little office and my pumpkins. I feel like things are starting to come together <3 It is a good feeling.
