1242: Balloon

It is 12:39am.

Today was a good day. Julien and Gabriel had such a fun time at the aquarium! I loved seeing how excited they were to spend their own money on an experience instead of junky toys lol. Julien even decided to buy his own lunch at the "fancy" little restaurant at the exit area by the lake downtown. And the weather was perfect too! We got to touch starfish and the kids fed the sting rays <3 It was beautiful.

Then I came home to discover that my new business had 3 orders! I was so excited until I realized I actually was losing money on these items (not much). And somehow I was still selling from a source I had taken my items off of yesterday. So I fixed that, and decided to take down all products until I know exactly where they come from and where they go lol. This is a learning process, and really in this last week I have learned many valuable lessons. I didn't leave my webpage bare though, tonight I spent time designing my own designer line of yoga mats and uploaded them to the store. And I have to say, they look amazing. lol.

Anyways, as soon as I get my products in line, I will get back to my art. I have an art show next month, and I bought some new drills today and we are going to a wedding in the beginning of march and our hotel is on the beach, so I can get even more big seashells to put to good use ;)

Lots to look forward to. I am so thankful right now.

Sending you all lots of love.

Good night.

Go change the world. Do it for Elijah.

Thank you.

I was JUST thinking about this moment today Elijah!
I bumped into a heart shaped balloon of some sort--probably for valentine's day,
and I didn't even stop to look---
but then as I walked away I started to remember when this balloon came down
from the ceiling just in time to come to Alex,
and how I believed with all my heart that you sent it to him.
I know you still send signs.
I am always looking.
I know you are always there.
I feel you.
I know that I am so lucky to be your mom.
I love you.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
