Levi got an email today saying that his application to train at Jackson Wink MMA Gym had been accepted. This is a huge deal. This is an invite only gym and it is listed as one of the top 10 gyms in the US.
Holly Holm fights out of this gym if you are familiar with her. I'm sure there are other big name fighters, I just remembered her name and they had a banner about a training session with her.
Anyways, we are trying to get him out there in May. We are also trying to come up with the money to make this all happen. We have enough money to get out there. But we will need money to get him signed up for the gym and to keep him there long enough to get some fights. I am also going to try and see if we can do a raffle or some sort, bake sale, and carwash before we leave in May. If you can think of any other fundraising ideas I would love to hear them. Levi is working and I am making a tiny bit teaching Yoga, but we do have some money saved right now. This is just a HUGE move.
I pray that this moves mountains. I really feel like this is life changing, and I am so happy for Levi. We will make it happen. I have faith.
