439: Slowly But Surely

It is 8:11pm.

Today has been such a busy day.

And I am still exhausted from last week.

I brought 15 more copies of my Eli The Crawfish books out to French Market Express and plan to bring some more copies Friday.

I also spoke with 2 different locations on Front Street, which I will also be bringing books to this Friday.

Of course, this is all depending on how the mail service goes this week because of Thanksgiving. It may be Monday before I actually get the books...

I am also helping mentor another local lady who wants to self publish a children's book, so I met with her today.

And then the rest of this afternoon has just been really random....but all in all it was a pretty decent day.

I got another donation today for our Love Elijah Holiday Remembrance Tree and I still have lots of stockings left to fill out before Friday. I just feel like I am about to crash...

But don't get me wrong, I love to be busy--especially if it is for good reasons.

Tomorrow is the first night we will all be together at our new place.

We have a lot of cleaning to do, and lots of stuff to put away but we will get there.

I also need to go and get bed sheets....ugh.

I am pretty sure I just spent all the money I had on reordering books lol.

Oh well, we will figure it all out.

I am just excited because we will be doing Thanksgiving there and Alex and I will be cooking in our kitchen <3

We are getting there....slowly but surely.

Thank you all again for your prayers and support during the good and not so good times. I really do appreciate it more than you could ever imagine.

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for my family. Pray for me. And always always pray for my sweet Elijah.

Look at you sweet boy.
What I would do to hold you like this,
or to see you in your dad's arms like this again.
I love and miss you more and more everyday.
Always.
<3

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
