427: Moving

It is 3:09pm.

I am waiting for my dad and cousin to finish working on some electrical things before I really get in to our new place and start the full force cleaning.

I did unload my cars though this morning, and mannnn I had a lot of stuff in them lol.

I am blogging now because I don't have internet there yet and the kids want to stay the night there tonight.

After I finish blogging, I am going to go try and dig out some more stuff that we have in my dad's storage room to bring to the house later.

I think we are going to be set with a fridge.

I will have to see about the oven. I have a lady that has a full sized one to give me, but the kitchen was built for a wall oven, and I have to figure out if there is anywhere we can fit a full sized oven.

And wall ovens are expensive. OMG.

I just looked on Best Buy and WITH a $200 discount, their cheapest one is still $699 and that is for a single one.

Since I only have like $25, I think I am just going to have use my little toaster oven we used while we were staying in hotels lol...we do have a stove top.

Now I am going to push my luck, but does anyone in Natchitoches have a washer they want to give me? lol.

Alright, alright...I'm done being needy and asking for stuff.

Tomorrow is www.illbehomeforchristmas.com's first Random Act of Kindness Day!

I wanted to do so much more, but I am broke and so busy right now, so me and the kids made about 75 candy bags and we are going to give them to people who are at work around town tomorrow. I mean shhhhh ;) Don't tell anyone.

I will be fun for the kids and it is still kindness...and kindness is never wasted.

THEN, Alex and I are going to spend the whole afternoon making homemade candies for the green market.

These kids want to go to Hawaii and we are going to make it happen.

(P.S. He said he will also be taking holiday orders once the market is done. And we will have more variety too!)

But first, I really need to get back to getting stuff moved into our new place.

Just keep praying everyone. Pray for our world. Pray for everyone who is scared or hurting today. Pray for love and peace to prevail. Pray that kindness continues. Pray for my family. Pray for me. And always always, pray for my sweet Elijah. <3

Thank you

This is just one of the sweetest photos I have of you.
I think it was one of your first smiles.
But look at those big bright eyes.
You were so full of life and love.
I miss you so so so much.
I love you Elijah.
Always
<3

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
