454: Santa

It is 10:33pm.

Today we took a random trip to Shreveport (which is a larger city in Louisiana about 1 hour north of where we live now) to go see Santa and get something to charge my computer.

We brought our Elijah Bear and the kids all got their picture with Santa.

Santa was great, and I have no idea why Gabriel has that look on his face because the first thing he did when we got there was give Santa a hug...he looks so scared lol.

It was emotional for sure, handing over our Molly Bear instead of Elijah, but at the same time it was really nice to have it there so that Elijah could be a part of everything and remembered in the picture too!

It was a really nice afternoon and I am glad we made the trip.

I am so sore from yesterday's Zumba class, which is both good and bad lol.

Good because it means I pushed myself...bad because being sore is not fun.

Tomorrow I am going back to another class and am pretty excited about it.

I am always dancing in the kitchen and around the house (even if I'm not the most graceful dancer) and it is really cool to incorporate it into a workout. It might make it easier to commit to.

It is just good to be active again.

It is so muddy where I am living now, I haven't really been able to go out and walk...but when it dries up I want to start walking again.

One day I really do want to walk across country...or do one of these 98 mile hiking trails. I will get there (even if it is not in the time frame I had originally hoped for).

Look at me dreaming away....

I guess I probably should be in actual dreamland....like sleeping...for real.

Good night everyone.

Please continue to pray for our world. Pray for my family. Pray for me. And always always, pray for my sweet Elijah.

Hello Batbaby <3
You must have been excited about meeting Santa today.
Right when we finished one of the kids asked about some little ornament they found
and the guy who was working there told them it was chocolate covered Sunflower seeds...
then I walked over and found all The Peanut gang goodies. <3
And then later, I swear I spotted a heart on one of my tortillas at dinner.
What would you want for Christmas this year?
Probably just to tear up wrapping paper lol.
I miss you so very much.
I hope you know that.
I love you more.
<3

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
