The sun is setting and we are getting ready to load up, say our goodbyes to Mamaw, and then head back to Louisiana.
I'm not ready to leave to be honest, because it means the next time we come back things will be different, and someone we love will no longer be here. I am really trying to numb myself to the "goodbyes" right now, and trying to savor the "denial" part of grief.
But it is time to get back home. Levi has training to get to, and and I desperately need to catch on sleep...and youtube videos. Plus I have a school bus to work on.
I will make it all happen somehow.
Right now, I just need to make it home.
