557: Date Night

It is 12:31am.

We are at my mom's because tonight was a date night for Levi and me, and she was the lucky babysitter. I am so thankful for her doing this for us.

I had bought tickets a while back for Brain Candy, a show featuring Adam Savage (from Myth Busters) and Michael Stevens (from V-Sauce), and I'm really glad we went. The show was really cute and interesting, and Levi and I had a lot of fun. We even got to move from balcony seats to floor seats, which was a really nice upgrade!

It was good to get some alone time to just relax and enjoy each others company.

Sadly, today was a very bittersweet day, because today is the day that Levi's grandmother took her last breath on earth, and joined Elijah in heaven.

I am so thankful for all the times we had with her, and that we were able to see her one more time this past week. The funeral is this weekend.

Please pray for all of our family in this sad time. While I still have a hard time dealing with death and losing anyone I love, I know Mrs. Betty had a strong love for God and is probably grinning from ear to ear and shining down on all of us and that brings me comfort.

Alright, I am tired and we are driving back home in the morning, so I need to get some sleep.

Good night guys. Love you all.

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for our country. Pray for my family. Pray for me. Pray for you! And always always pray for my sweet Elijah.

Thank you.

Hi sweet boy.
Tell  your mamaw we love and miss her already.
I know she is going to spoil you rotten and love on you so much.
We love and miss you
always.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
