I should be making a "Make a Difference" vlog right now... and I might still, it will just be another late night posting.
It was another rough day with the kids. But I am really working on it tonight.
Tomorrow morning, we are going to have a "meeting" and discuss some plans that I am hoping will help with behavior (for all of us).
Anyways, yesterday, while I was out doing an act of kindness in memory of Elijah (and sweet Mora Grace) I heard this really interesting interview on NPR about kindness and love meditation.
This really intrigued me and tonight I have started doing a little research on it.
I haven't got too far into my studies, but I did find this little 15 minute meditation that you can do daily that was really nice:
http://www.mindful.org/a-loving-kindness-meditation-to-boost-compassion/
I just did it, laying between the two little ones in bed as they slept--and I really liked it.
Anyways, I jotted down some info from the interview yesterday about lady who was being featured and her books and this article also had some books I can read and I will be sharing more and more as I go.
That's about all for tonight.. go try this little meditation! I promise you won't be disappointed.
Love you all so much! Thank you for reading.
Look at that smile.
You are the epitome of love and kindness.
I want nothing more than for you to have peace and love.
I just wish I could experience it all with you,
seeing this sweet smile shining back at me.
I love you Elijah.
Always
<3
