616: Wellness

It is 10:28pm.

Today the kid's went to the doctor's office for a "wellness" check up.

Everyone's eyes, pee, and blood were good lol.

I was actually pretty nervous about going, because this was the first doctor's appointment they have been to in a while, but the doctor and nurses were really great!

I also got a referral to a children's mental health clinic in Shreveport and had a phone interview with them today about Gabriel. I don't want to go too in-depth about all of that until we have seen someone--and it could be months before we actually do see someone...if it happens at all. (Although it did sound hopeful).

The rest of the day has just been all over the place.

I had to plan to write all afternoon, but the kids lost my adapter piece to my laptop charger--so that didn't happen.

(I just now found the piece so no worries...)

I tried riding Alex's bike.

I thought somehow that I was going to ride a whole 8 miles on it, but probably made it a mile and almost cried because my thighs were burning.

Coasting down the hills was really nice though. I felt like a kid again.

I will just have to keep working at it. Or I need to start walking again. I have been sitting on my butt way too much lately, and it needs to stop.

Also today we also moved the table off the bus and decided to use a small wooden desk we have instead as a table. It makes it so much more roomy in here. But now I have to reorganize all the stuff I had stored under the other table lol.

AND that's about it! Nothing too inspiring I guess. Like I said before, it comes in little spurts.

I probably need to work on my novel, even though I really just want to sleep.

Thank you for reading my blog. I love you all!

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for our country. Pray for my family. Pray for me. Pray for you! And always always pray for my sweet Elijah.

Thank you!

"You are so beautiful to me."
I miss you so much.
Love you more.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
