Wow. Today has been a busy day. A great day, but a busy day!
I am so thankful for all the wonderful people in my life and how helpful complete strangers have been. It is truly an amazing feeling <3
We had to launch our Kickstarter campaign a little earlier than planned, because I needed my website to be ready to redirect early in the morning when the Natchitoches Times roll out with our ad.
Also, I have bloggers and other people helping out and I wanted to be respectful our their time, and give them the information they need in a timely manner.
But this kind of puts us at a disadvantage, because I was not 100% prepared to launch today and I'm not sure what kind of traffic we brought in. The first week is the most important week (so I have read), in your Kickstarter journey. It either sets you up for success, or failure. I guess we will see lol.
So what is a Kickstarter? Maybe I should explain myself.
Kickstarter is an all or nothing crowdfunding website. They only approve projects that meet their requirements, and only fund those who raise their total goal.
Our goal for "Elijah's Smiles Change The World" is to raise $7000 so our family can go to Book Con 2018 AND have a big book launch for our little book.
I have done the research for all the things we need to be successful with the book, now we just need the financial support to get there. I am confident that we can do this.
Tonight, if you can, please at the very least click on this link and take a look at the project. Watch the video, and read our story. EVERY CLICK COUNTS.
I have about 200 of you reading my blog every night. If each of you click on this link, the more traffic Kickstarter will notice, and the higher visibility our project will have.

Wow! I just looked and we are already up to $110 in pledges <3 <3 <3 My heart is so full right now it could burst. I am literally fighting back tears. Wow!
Oh my gosh. Thank you to all you awesome people out there. I seriously love you so much. <3
Anyways, I promise I won't spam you too much, but I will be talking about this Kickstarter quite a bit this month--because I ONLY HAVE THIS MONTH to raise $7000.
Thank you for your love and support always. And thank you for putting up with me too ;)
I love you guys. You rock. The best people ever. I mean it.
Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Okay, I've got a bunch of work to do. Sending you all lots of love. Live your dreams. Love your life. Love yourself! You are so worth it.
And don't forget to pray for our world. Pray for our Earth. Pray for each other. Pray for our families. Pray for our children. Pray for hope. Pray for peace. Pray for love. And always always pray for our sweet sweet Elijah.
Thank you.
Oh Elijah my heart is so full of love
for the people helping us tell your story.
It is also so full of love for you too,
but you knew that.
I love and miss you sweet boy.
Always.
<3
