918: Handful

It is 3:45pm.

I am blogging a little bit earlier this afternoon, because:
A. I am still awake and fully functional right now and
B. Levi is on his way home so I want to free up some time this evening to be able to spend with him.

Right now Alex is working on adding a photo gallery to my webpage. I am so proud of him! It is definitely a learning process as this is a new webpage platform we are working with, but he is doing an amazing job!

Julien and Gabriel are temporarily calm and watching their tablets. Their wildness comes and goes in spurts--but lately they have been pushing all sorts of buttons with me saying that I don't spend enough time with them. I am trying my best to be respectful of this feeling, and have tried to incorporate little ways that we can have one on one time throughout the day, but have yet to see an adjustment in their attitudes and it is becoming a real struggle for me. I think that they have separation anxieties, among many other issues that we have been trying to work through. I know they can be a handful sometimes, but I love them more than anything and still feel blessed to be their mother.

Today I did get Julien to do his Learning without fuss, so I will call that a small win and just keep trying to be the best mom I can be.

My Kickstarter for Elijah's Smiles Change the World is continuing to grow steadily. I am feeling really good about it. Right now we are at $1165 in pledges and still have 16 days left to raise $5835. I have 2 events and will just continue to message people. I believe in this book and I believe in me. I will make this happen somehow.

Thank you to all of you who have shown love and support this far. It means the world to me and my family. The kids are really looking forward to going on a book tour!

Alright, the kids need my attention. Sending you all lots of love. Hope you are having a beautiful day. Go change the world and do it for Elijah.

Thank you.

Oh sweet boy.
I love and miss you so much.
Shine your love down on your brothers.
I know that they love and miss you too.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
