923: Happy Birthday Chester

It is 10:15pm.

Today is Chester Bennington's birthday.

Today is a good day to reflect on the choice that we all owe to ourselves to be aware of our own mental health. Because ultimately it is our choice to take the action when we need help.

Chester's wife (and many other wonderful people) have put together some awesome resources that you can check out here: https://www.changedirection.org/320-changes-direction/

Take care of yourself. Love yourself. The help is there, but you have to open yourself up to it. You are never alone.

Happy Birthday Chester--you are so loved and missed.

Today was busy for me, but things were a little slow for my Kickstarter. I got one pledge this morning, but Facebook is cracking down on me messaging people, so I think I maybe reached out to 15 people total.

I am okay. In fact, it was strangely a peaceful day-- and I haven't given up. Tomorrow, Alex and I will be at LitCon at NSU all day which should be fun. All I can do is keep trying and have faith in my book and myself. Whether the Kickstarter is funded or not, I will find my way to get this book out into the world, because I am worth it and because Elijah's story deserves to be told.

Alright, I am going to get ready for bed. Sending you all lots of love. Don't forget to take care of yourself.

Go change the world! Do it for Elijah <3

Thank you.

Sweet sweet boy.
Shine down on us tomorrow.
I hope we make you proud.
I love and miss you so much.
Always
<3

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
