Last night I had the most vivid dream of the beaches of Hawaii. Okay, it wasn't the exact replica of Hawaii but I knew I was there, and they were so overwhelmingly beautiful and bright that I thought for a moment it might be Heaven. There was also this really retro funky hotel in my dream, but I don't remember much more than that.
Those vision of those beaches have been playing all day in my head, giving me a glimmer of hope.
Today was our second Kindness Rocks in Natchitoches rock painting group meeting. We had lots of new faces, and it really touched my heart to hear that one family pretty much drove an hour to come and participate! The kids were all wonderful and they even worked together to make a super sweet painting for new The Natchitoches Family and Children's Services building. It was a truly beautiful day.
Now I have laundry to do and sleep to catch up on. I am pretty tired. I hope I can visit these shimmering beaches from last night's dream again. And I know that someday soon I am going to bring my kids to see Hawaii, because we all deserve it.
Sending you all lots of love! Have a beautiful weekend. Do what you love.
Go change the world. Do it for Elijah.
Thank you.
I love you sweet boy.
You are my inspiration for everything and I miss you so much.
Always.
