975: Summer Schedule

It is 10:36pm.

Today I finished MOST of the Kindness Rocks summer schedule :) I am waiting to hear back from the library and Council on Aging to see where we will schedule for August, but June and July are ready to go :)

I need to make fliers because tomorrow is our next meeting. 2-4pm at Pierson Mallet Park in Natchitoches if anyone is interested :)

Then in June we have a booth at City Park's Family day June 9th from 10am-1pm, AND a special Summer Splash Party at Garret Spray Park to celebrate the fun of summer.

July we will have a meeting with the Boys and Girls Club at their summer camp in the MLK Center on July 13th from 2-4pm.

And because I know August in the hottest month, I am still working on a cool place to hold our meeting.

By September I am hoping it is cool enough to return to the playground.

I am really proud of how everything came together, now let's' just hope people keep coming to the meetings ;)

Alright, I have a mountain of laundry to fold and I am getting really sleepy. Sending you all lots of love. More big things coming soon!

Go change the world! Do it for Elijah <3

Thank You!

Silly boy. I remember that Julien had just dumped all his little butterflies on your head.
You had no idea what was going on. Lol.
You were such a happy baby.
You made all of us smile.
I love and miss you so much.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
