Yesterday was the first time I had seen him in almost a year because he was staying with my dad in Louisiana, and I live in Florida.
I was so excited to see him yesterday, the first thing I asked my dad when I walked through his door was, "where's my dog?"
My dog's name was Firesword (aka Fire). My son Alex named him.
He was such a sweet dog, and I'm really glad that he got to see us before he passed. He really loved the kids, and they adored him. He will be missed.
RIP Firesword. We love you.
Today was also Memorial Day.
I hope you all took the time to pray or have a moment of silence for the soldiers who have given their lives to defend our freedom.
Today was also a day for Random Acts of Kindness.
I did my best to do what I could today.
First I picked Black Eyed Susans (flowers) and placed them on graves with the help of my 2 oldest sons.

Then I headed to The Women's Resource Center where I donated some baby items.
Next, I went to the Grocery Store and paid for a lady's items. (sorry no pic for that).
Then, I delivered these fun goodies to 6 random doorknobs! (get it mustache? kool aid mustaches? lol)
After that, I donated $5 to the American Heart Association.
I also drove with my dad to visit his dad's grave.
Today I also reached $776 on my kickstarter. Which is pretty awesome, but I still need to raise $3224.
And I only have 17 days left to do so.
I am almost to the point of asking 3,224 people for one dollar...lol...but that sounds like a whole other project on its own.
But I am staying positive. I still have some cards up my sleeve. And a super big thanks to those of you have backed me. It means so much to me :)
Hope you all had a Safe and Happy Memorial Day!
