Nature's Way

If you've noticed my absence in the last several days, it is not because I have given up.

If anything, over the last several days I've learned that you should never give up because life is a gift, and you never know when your day will come.

My husband's father passed away several days ago.

I have been in Duluth, Georgia spending time with family and arranging a private burial.

It was an honor to be included in the service, because it was only close family.

But how do you say goodbye to a man you hardly knew?

My Husband, Levi and his father did not see each other often.

In fact, in the 15 years we have known each other, I have only met his father once.

But in that one day, Mr. Marshall smiled the entire time because he was with his son and his grandsons. And I could tell that he was very proud of his family and he loved them very much.

My husband stated this very beautifully on facebook:

"It is difficult loosing someone you care about when you do not have a good relationship with them. You are left wondering what could have been had you taken the first step in improving that relationship earlier on in life. I encourage you all to work on building up your relationships with those you care about, because life can be fleeting, and you never know when someone you care about is going to disappear forever, whether you knew them as well as you wished or not."

I will be continuing my RAOK (random acts of kindness) in a day or two.

But, for today, my act of kindness is say a prayer, be thankful for this beautiful day, and to continue working on and developing new ideas for my project.

Thank you for continued support!

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
