While waiting for Kickstarter to let me know if my project is approved or not, I have been steadily working on revamping my webpage, and connecting with the social media world... (even though today I was told I need to add instagram to the the list).
Today I finished the webpage revamp...yay!
If you get a chance, please check it out:

I also took a break from the computer to bring my oldest son to Cub Scouts.
While I was there, I started compiling my list of 100+ acts of kindness. While doing this, I realized that this is going to be harder than I thought...
I'm at #43. That means I have 57 left to go...
At first, I debated sharing the list...
But then I thought, the worst thing that could happen is someone would steal my idea and go out and commit 43 acts of kindness...
To be quite honest, that's not a bad thing at all..
So here are the first 43 acts of kindness (money permitting and brought to you in no particular order):
1. gift cards taped to doors in a neighborhood
2. teddy bears delivered to a children's hospital
3. free car washes
4. donate teaching supplies to a teacher (or school full of teachers)
5. bring lunch to "lunch ladies"
6. flowers and thank you notes on graves
7. hour of free hugs
8. pay someone else's toll
9. diapers and other supplies for new mom
10. gift registry gifting
11. wipes delivered to a daycare
12. food and liter delivered to an animal shelter
13. candy bags left on the hotel doors
14. reading in the park
15. hold the door hour
16. dance with strangers in the park for an hour
17. high 5 hour
18. plant a tree
19. clean a roadway
20. pay someone's rent (money permitting)
21. sunblock and sunscreen goodie bag for lifeguards
22. donuts for cops ;)
23. buy a bride's dress for her (money permitting)
24. cookies for firefighters
25. hand out movie tickets to families headed to movie ticket window
26. free art hour (hand out prints for free)
27. quarters in gumball machines
28. dollars taped to vending machines
29. blankets and socks delivered to a nursing home
30. spending time with a nursing home patient
31. pay for someone's dinner tab
32. free dog treats for dog owner walking their dog
33. hand out balloons
34. powerade and sunflower seeds for a sports team
35. clean up a part
36. bags of food delivered to a "less fortunate" neighborhood
37. starbucks gift cards for nurses
38. "free wishes" at a fountain (handing out pennies)
39. fill up someone's gas tank
40. bring a fisherman some bait
41. lollipop flower hand out
42. bags with toiletries and food for the homeless
43. bubbles hand out (while playing in bubbles from a bubble machine)
If you can contribute any more ideas, I would love to hear them :)
Thanks!

Welcome to my blog. It's a bit of a mess. I'm a bit of a mess. It used to be about just kindness. Now it is about finding strength in the darkest places. Discovering love through grief. Traveling this beautiful world. And continuing to practice kindness all because of a little boy I love and miss very much. I hope you find inspiration in all my ramblings. #loveelijah
