My Newest Project

So, I will be continuing discussing "The Power of Kindness," in my next blog, but tonight I want to talk about my newest project.

I am super excited about this one, because it is something that will really reach the community, and be a permanent way to continue giving back.

The project is called, The Give Back Boutique.

The idea is a community run thrift store, ran solely on donations, where all of our items are free to those in need.

"Take what you need, and give from your heart," is our motto.

But it will go beyond free inventory.

The Give Back Boutique will host family activities and provide positive guidance to children and families who may be struggling financially.

The hope is that by creating a sense of support and community, we can provide the confidence and sense of belonging to keep "at risk" families on a path to bigger and better things.

I am just in the early planning stages, but I am actively collecting donations of all sorts: financial or gently used housing items or clothing.

If you'd like to donate any items, please let me know via email: kindhartusa@gmail.com

If you'd like to make a financial donation, you can do so via paypal on the link below:

I know this blog is short and sweet, but I have some candles for kindness to start putting together.

Remember on April 22, you can light a candle while saying a prayer or having a moment of silence for kindness.

Then you can post a photo/video of your candle on Facebook with the hashtag #candlesforkindness

Let's light up Facebook with some kindness!

Thanks so much for reading.

Be Kind,
Kelly Airhart
