I have learned a great deal over the past year.
I have learned that no matter how excited you are about a project, it doesn't mean that everyone else will quickly jump on your bandwagon.
I have learned that just because you are passionate about giving, not everyone will share that same passion.
I have also learned (throughout my entire life actually) that the moments that you are truly yourself can be some of the loneliest moments in your life.
I will add that sometimes the moment you are true to yourself, are some of the strongest and most beautiful moments in your life.
These are the moments that will build you for the greater more important challenges out there--like changing the world.
If you have a dream--or if you want to make significant change in the world--It's not going to be easy.
But it will be wonderful.
Another short post tonight, this time because I have to be at my full time job tomorrow at 5am.
I am still seeking donations for a mother who has twin boys, age 4, who need clothing.
If you can donate clothing, please contact me by email: givingtreemobile@gmail.com
Or if you can donate ANYTHING, even $1, I will take all money collected by this Saturday and go to Walmart/Kmart, and purchase a few items for the boys. You can donate by hitting the "Donate" button at the top right corner of my blog.
I didn't get to have a another "Giving Tree" event on my days off this week, like I was planning. But I am actively working on a calendar for the upcoming weeks and will be posting these dates and locations very soon.
Off to bed. Early day tomorrow...
Thanks always for reading!
Be Kind,
Kelly Airhart
Welcome to my blog. It's a bit of a mess. I'm a bit of a mess. It used to be about just kindness. Now it is about finding strength in the darkest places. Discovering love through grief. Traveling this beautiful world. And continuing to practice kindness all because of a little boy I love and miss very much. I hope you find inspiration in all my ramblings. #loveelijah
