15 days away from the end of The Kind Knight's kickstarter and I still need to raise $3,327 in pledges. This means I need to raise roughly $225 a day to make this happen. Today's goal is $250. I have made $30 of that so far. Let's get those pledges coming in :)
Today is a day of behind the scenes work. Most of the afternoon I will be working on fliers to hand out.
I am also mentally and physically preparing myself for the next 3 days of getting out in public (which normally wouldn't be an issue, but there is this little person growing inside of me that tends to suck out all of my energy.)
I have posted a little bit on facebook, and should do more posting...will do more posting...later.
I also have some super amazing friends who have been sharing posts today as well. I can't thank them enough for that. The more people who see The Kind Knight, the better my chances of getting pledges...and I still need quite a few to go!
I am not worrying yet though. A lot can happen in 15 days, and I think that the knight suit we rented will make people smile, and want to contribute.
I am going to go make a sign this afternoon that has the hashtag: #thekindknight on it, so that people can take selfies and post them on social media. Then I should be able to find those and give them links to the kickstarter and thank them for their support. I think this will help a lot.
I did receive some amazing news yesterday that has been so excited for the future success for The Kind Knight...I will find out even more on Wednesday and will share with you then, but I promise it is big!
Well, I need to charge my laptop, eat something for lunch, and get to work.
