1121: Work

It is 9:43pm.

I am so close to putting the final touches on this book...and it seems so far away lol.

Putting everything together in Photoshop is probably my least favorite part of the process. You think by now I would have it down to a science, but I don't. I have been grumpy all day dealing with a computer that is as old as Julien and praying that it stays alive enough to last me a few more books. It is the only computer that has photoshop and Adobe. I need these things to combine all my files and make them look good before sending them off to my publishing company.

Anyways, I guess I shouldn't complain, I am at home with my beautiful family and able to take breaks to do whatever else I need or want to do through out the day. But don't be mistaken, it is still work.

Even though I don't have a 9-5 "job," I do a lot of work. I homeschool my children, I take care of my children, I have to keep up with family appointments, extracurricular activities, and my artistic work. I make money however I can. I take care of pets, houses, I write, I am doing hypnotherapy now, I paint. I am always doing something. It is rare that I have a day where I am just "hanging around."

And today, I did a lot of work on my book. It is rough, but worth it. I think this year will be my most successful year yet with book sales. I feel really good about it. I hope we make Elijah proud.

Alright, well it is time to get some rest. I still have a lot of work left to do tomorrow, and I have ornaments that need painting too!

Sending you all lots of love.

Go change the world. Do it for Elijah.

Thank you.

Oh sweet boy.
I love and miss you so so so much.
You are my everything.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
