Keeping this blog short, because it is late (I know I know I said I would start blogging earlier yesterday), and the puppy we rescued not even a month ago got attacked today by some other dogs while we were away at the library.
He had some pretty deep cuts, but Levi was able to clean them well and wrap them with bandages. He is in a lot of pain, but his paws are still warm, which means his blood is still circulating and he is snoring really loud right now, so he is sleeping. He also stood up on his own for a little while earlier while we were getting blankets on the bed ready for him. We think if he can pull through the night he might make it...
I'm just worried about pain and shock. He is still a baby, and this is a lot for his little body to handle. We are going to have to keep him rested for a while. Please send lots of love and say some prayers. This is a hard thing to see any living creature go through, especially when you grow to love them so.
