Today I have set out to relax and find gratitude. I have meditated, and granted myself peace, I took a short nap in the sauna at the gym, and I am probably about to go to sleep at 7:30 or 8pm...
My Women's Night Out was succesfull last night. The numbers I wanted weren't there, but the women who attended all made happy memories and I was even told that this event was "exactly what they needed."
At the end of the night, as I was getting ready to leave, I spoke to the owner of the Skating Rink and she told me that I did a good job, and that events are always hit or miss-- and I can't give up. She told me women in this town need something like this. They need me to step up for them. I don't know how long I will be around here, but I like the idea of helping women in this area to step into their worth, and start to love themselves and love their lives. It just takes persistence, faith, bravery, and heart.
I'm not downhearted. Of course, I would love to have made some money lol, but I will find my way in the world and the money will come...it is on its way now. I have faith.
Tomorrow I am going to finish painting and packing up all my custom ornaments off so I can get them sent off, and I am going to start working on some more art to sell.
Tonight, I am going to meditate and rest some more... I needed this rest.
