love, Elijah

It's 10:16 pm.

For the most part today was ok.

Gabriel and I drove to the Give Kids The World Village and donated 15 copies of The Kind Knight in memory of Elijah.

I even got a glimpse into heaven.

I have been thinking about doing a candy collection for The Give Kids The World Halloween celebration and when I asked at the front desk if they would like that, their eyes lit up and they seemed really excited.

So after our visit I brainstormed very quickly on how to make this work and to make a long story short, I signed up for the Cagan Crossings Farmers Market and made a facebook invite and created Love, Elijah's first act of kindness to work on.

P.s. Love, Elijah is the name of our project we are creating in memory of Elijah.

Goal: Spreading kindness in Elijah's name so his name can live on forever in love- inspiring others to be kind.

Big goal: Start a private foundation in his name.

But first, the candy drive.

If you would like to donate candy or cash for candy in person, I will be at The Cagan Corners Market Place every Friday from now until October 30th collecting candy and selling "boo pops."

If you would like to mail a Wal-Mart gift card or candy you can mail them to me at:

Or you can donate via PayPal on my blog. If you are on a phone scroll down to the bottom of the screen where it says web view, click on that and then the PayPal donate button is up in the right top section of the page.

Thank you.

This afternoon we received some more unpleasant news and it's been really hard.

All I can say is just keep praying. Praying for Elijah. Praying for us. Praying for our family.

Somehow we have to stay strong for all of our kids. We have to keep Elijah's memory going and we have to keep our other boys safe and happy.

Elijah, your brothers love you and ask about you. You will always be their little brother and you will always share a bond that transcends time and space. We all love and miss you and are all doing our best to make you proud because you deserve it.

Hope you are enjoying heaven, but we miss you here on Earth.

I love you.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
