It is 10:47pm.
Today I sent out 34 letters to businesses in Orlando asking for donations.
I'm each "package" I included a letter asking for donations, an stamped and addressed envelope, a Love, Elijah business card and a "have a heart" bracelet....
I feel like it is a lot...but Orlando is so huge, so I also feel like I could do lots more....just not today.
Now comes the waiting part I guess...except I can't really afford to just sit and wait. We have to get people passionate about donating!!! And I am losing my mind trying to find ways to make it happen lol.
I am so thankful for one Angel moms kind words this morning because I feel like her sincerity really helped me turn things around.
We had some really awesome donations and etsy purchases today and I am stoked, but we still need so much more before our soft opening next month.
But I can only take it one day at a time, so that is what I am trying to do...
I just have to make each day as productive as I can.
So I guess that means I need to get some sleep before tomorrow...so I can figure it all out again...and maybe send off some more letters.
Just keep praying. Pray for The Love, Elijah Project. Pray for my family. Pray for me. And always pray for my Elijah. <3
Oh sweet sweet boy. How I love you so. I hope our Love translates into all we do to change the world...because we are totally going to make it happen <3
I love and miss you my boogie.
Always.
Welcome to my blog. It's a bit of a mess. I'm a bit of a mess. It used to be about just kindness. Now it is about finding strength in the darkest places. Discovering love through grief. Traveling this beautiful world. And continuing to practice kindness all because of a little boy I love and miss very much. I hope you find inspiration in all my ramblings. #loveelijah
