A Flame Burning in The Rain

It is 10:42pm

I'm going to keep this blog short.

I mainly wanted to share the memorial video I made tonight.

I set out to make a heart out of candles by this little stream I found-- but then it started to rain, so I tried other things...but of course candles don't light in the rain right???

Well, somehow one candle cooperated and it stayed lit for almost a whole 3 minutes.

That tiny flame fought the rain.

It did the impossible.

It stayed lit when there was no real reason for it to do so...

It didn't steal the show, but it certainly should be mentioned because it made this video special to me.

So here is the first of many Monday Memorial Videos <3

Sweet boy, did you see that candle shine in the rain? How amazing was that?
I wish I were more poetic. I would have turned that into some beautiful metaphor, but I am also extremely tired and burned out right now. I love you so much, and I remember this picture. I remember you cracking me up because you were just so serious. So full of thought. God how I miss you so.

Thinking of you always....never doubt it.
