Today was...well....a day.
I'm going to try and stay positive and say I think it was a pretty good day.
I made a little schedule out yesterday for schooling with the boys, and with all my "mom stuff" for me. And we followed it quite well I think.
The problem with me is when I make these schedules then I get so stressed out when they are not followed to the minute lol. So I found myself having to fight back a lot of anxiety and trying my best to not snap because the boys did not finish eating their breakfast at the right time lol.
But we talked a lot about poetry today and then decided to make lists of what the kids want to learn about. All of them said they wanted to start a "store" so we went to my dad's and watched videos on kids who had started successful businesses and I told the kids that tomorrow we would start brainstorming ideas and weigh the pros and cons of each of them. I think them running a small business of their own, now that we are stable, is something that we can do and make successful. It will be a great way for them to learn many different skill sets and hopefully learn a little bit about failure and success. And I hope that they chose something where they can give back to their community too.
Tomorrow afternoon we have to go out to The Christmas Tree Farm and take down our Holiday Remembrance Tree, so please pray for me because it will probably be pretty emotional for me.
But for now I am going to go back to making screen shots of all the acts of kindness we have done, or that have been done in Elijah's memory for The Love, Elijah Project's webpage and Facebook page. I have been working on it all after noon and am not even half way done....which is wonderful.
I'm still not 100% sure of what direction we are going, but I wanted to show that a strong foundation has been laid and we aren't kidding when we said we do an act of kindness EVERY DAY.
So, I hope you all have a good night and I am sending you all sweet dreams and lots of love.
Please continue to pray for our world. Pray for my family. Pray for me. Pray for you. And always always pray for my sweet Elijah.
I am so touched and so honored by all the kindness that has been done in your name Elijah.
I pray that it never stops,
but I also know that as long as I am alive it will not stop.
I plan to do an act of kindness EVERY DAY until I join you.
I promised you I would change this world with you love
and that is what I intend to do.
I love you my boogie.
Miss you always.
