824: McDonald's Santa

It is 8:08pm.

We are in Shreveport at McDonald's letting the kids run off some energy before we head back to Natchitoches. Levi is already back at MMA classes. He will join us for dinner in a little bit.

Tomorrow we go back to "reality," and I am going to have to go see a doctor for new neck pain and a weird heavy feeling--where my neck feels like it is hinging backwards. I also have to call one specialist to see when the other might call. Not the most exciting chain of events, but it is something I need to take care of.

I also need to get our Elijah's Little Library put together and painted this week. I am so excited to get it up for Elijah's 25 days of Christmas.

Today we have been kind of lacking in the giving department...but the day is not over. I have managed to leave enough change in a vending machine for someone to get a hot coffee and tip a quick stop restaurant employee, but I feel like there is still something left in this day that needs to be done....

After 9 hours of driving today, you would think 1 hour wouldn't seem too bad, but I am really not looking forward to the drive home to Natchitoches without Levi. I have really enjoyed having him around these last few days. HOWEVER, it won't be too much longer until I see him again for another Christmas Adventure! Next stop! The Polar Express :)

OKay okay, tomorrow I will get to those Youtube Videos. Tonight, my goal is to just get back home to our bus and see our (...well Alex's) sweet puppy Winter. I'm sure she has missed us.

Sending you all lots of love. Send us safe travels!

OH MY GOSH! SANTA JUST SHOWED UP AT THE PLAY PLACE!!! HOW AWESOME!!!

Christmas miracles happen everywhere....even at McDonald's lol.

Please keep praying for our world. Pray for our Earth. Pray for our families. Pray for our children. Pray for peace. Pray for compassion. Pray for love. Pray for you! Pray for me. And always always pray for my sweet sweet Elijah.

Thank you

All I can think of when the kids take pictures with Santa is that you are not there....
but maybe tonight you were.
Maybe tonight you sent us Santa.
I love and miss you so much my boogie.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
