866: Bleed it Out

It is 8:20pm.

I just finished like the 5th attempt at the same illustration, only to find problems with it yet again. It is frustrating to say the least.

The editor/publisher who has been working with me is really happy with the story now--which brings some relief, but I am rushing myself to get it done...which is really unfair to me.

I know this. I know I need to just slow down, learn, and do it right. Thank God, my husband also knows this and was kind enough to remind me.

But it still feels like I just wasted two days of work lol.

No worries, I just bought a monster size coffee- loaded with sugar- and AFTER I finally get through this volunteer tax stuff, I will just continue to work on the book until it is perfect. However long it takes.

(Just hoping it doesn't take much longer lol).

God give me patience.

Well, back to work I go.

I hope you are all passionately- and patiently- working towards your dreams. I love you all so much. No lie.

Elijah! I was so excited today and couldn't wait to tell you
(although I am sure you already knew)
that when I opened your Little Library to put some DVD's in,
I saw that someone had gone through the books
AND someone even left a book <3
It was a great feeling to know that we have started to make a difference,
even if it is just for one person!
Kid, you are changing the world.
I love and am so proud of you my boogie.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
