915: Messages

It is 10:39pm.

I am loving these longer days already...oh and SUNSHINE! Thank God. It has been so nice to see some sunshine today.

If it stays this beautiful tomorrow I will plant my new flower seeds--unfortunately most of my other flower seeds did not survive all the rain we have seen lately. But, there are still a few seedlings fighting for a chance to shine.

Tomorrow Levi goes back to Shreveport (again) to work for a few days. The days that he is gone are hard, but they are necessary if we want to pay bills and ever get out of here.

Today my Kickstarter reached over $1000 in pledges. I know that we still have a little under $6000 to raise, but this made me feel extremely hopeful and gave me great hope.

As I was messaging people, asking for help for my Kickstarter, I had a chance to reread some messages that people sent right after Elijah passed away.

In my fresh grief, I don't know if I ever actually read any of these words. I was so hurt and so in shock, all I could do was send thumbs ups to acknowledge that people were speaking to me. Or if I did read these words, my mind blocked it out some how, and I am so sorry that I never took the time to respond or thank you for your kindness.

It was a beautiful reminder today to see how many people were there for me in my darkest hour. And I will always be thankful for that.

Alright, I am trying to take better care of myself, and that means I need to get more sleep. So while 11:01 is still a late bed time--it is much better than 2:30am lol. Sending you all sweet dreams and lots of love. Follow your dreams and take care of yourself, because you are worth it.

And keep praying for our world. Pray for our Earth. Pray for each other. Pray for our families. Pray for our children. Pray for hope. Pray for peace. Pray for love. And always always pray for my sweet sweet Elijah.

Thank you.

I wonder what you were thinking about.
What wonders did that precious little head hold.
I bet you knew more than I ever will.
I bet you had it all figured out.
I love and miss you so much Elijah.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
