944: The Easter Bunny

It is 8:10pm.

Today was a total fog. I'm on my period, which drains me in every way imaginable- mentally and physically. PLUS I took some Benadryl because my allergies are driving me crazy.

Alex and I watched a Global Issue Forum about The Holocaust and Human Nature. It was interesting, but I think there are lots of questions that were left unanswered, because it was pretty short in length.

Then I took a nap before we headed out to an adoption day party for a friend of mine who, by the way, has my dream home lol. It was a beautiful party hosted by a beautiful family and I am so glad we went because it was just the little getaway we needed today.

Now we are home and "winding down" before bed time.

Gabriel is watching "Puppy Paws," and it is so sweet that he believes that Puppy Paws is real. I don't know why things like this break my heart, but I guess it is just because one day this innocence will disappear.

Today Julien told me he knew there was no such thing as the Easter Bunny. He wasn't upset about it, and I mean I figured he already knew this, but hearing the words just broke my heart. My children are growing up, and the little baby I am supposed to have to hold onto the innocence is not here. Is it weird to miss moments you have never shared with someone?

Oh, and I totally did not end up waking up at 5am this morning. Tomorrow I will try again.

Right now, I am going to go get myself ready for bed, because the boys go to sleep easier when I go to sleep with them--making it easier on all of us.

Sending you guys all lots of love and sweet dreams.

Go change the world. Do it for Elijah!

Thank you.

I miss you sweet boy,
in ways you could never even begin to imagine.
I love you so much.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
