Today was day 3 of doing Random Acts of Kindness to raise awareness for the kick starter to my book:

And today, I baked cookies for some very nice Fire Fighters whose station is right down the road from my apartment.
This was to thank them for all the hard work they do. Plus, I've also heard from several sources that fire fighters love to eat :) So hopefully this made them happy!
I am $320 closer to my goal of $4,000, but I only have 30 days left.
I am working on a few ideas to put money towards this goal myself, and one of them involves a Face Book Auction. This will be an open auction, and I am really excited about the idea.
Tomorrow and Friday I will be working towards organizing it and collecting donations.
If you are a business or artist who would like to get involved, please email me at: alovelytuesday@gmail.com
You're business name will not only be featured in the auction itself, it will be featured on a very special thank you section in my book when it becomes published!
Thank you so much for all your support!

Welcome to my blog. It's a bit of a mess. I'm a bit of a mess. It used to be about just kindness. Now it is about finding strength in the darkest places. Discovering love through grief. Traveling this beautiful world. And continuing to practice kindness all because of a little boy I love and miss very much. I hope you find inspiration in all my ramblings. #loveelijah
