Adrenaline is pumping.
Stress is inevitable.
But oddly enough, I am actually pretty feeling quite peaceful right now as I wait for my car at the mechanics.
With the weather being what it is, we have decided to make some last minute changes to our physical trip, but the acts of 1,000 acts of kindness will remain. But that means I will have to spend some last minute time changing the webpage... Thankfully I have a very supportive and helpful husband, and some left over wine in the fridge..lol.
I have also decided to add 1,000 candles for kindness to our trip; all to be lit on our final day,March 1, at 5pm eastern...more information on that to come.
So far we have only bagged 300 something with the information sheets and have around 700 left to bag...
So, yes..still lots to do before we leave tomorrow.
BUT...
I am still more excited than anything, because we will be stopping at some pretty iconic locations that make our Country truly beautiful. I have actually never seen the majority of our country, so it will be nice to see it through fresh eyes of wonder.
But most importantly, I am determined to make a positive influence and prove America is full of kind and loving people. And I will be showing my children how important it is to be giving and kind.
Lately, it seems there has been such focus on the negatives and the debates over what is right and what is wrong.
If I can bring people together in anyway and get them focused on the positive, then I have a fighting chance of making a change. (And hopefully inspire a few people to follow their dreams as well)
Well, it looks like they may be wrapping up on the car... might as well stuff a few more candles into baggies while I have a chance.
Please keep us in your positive thougths ans prayers!
"Be the change you want to see in the world."

Welcome to my blog. It's a bit of a mess. I'm a bit of a mess. It used to be about just kindness. Now it is about finding strength in the darkest places. Discovering love through grief. Traveling this beautiful world. And continuing to practice kindness all because of a little boy I love and miss very much. I hope you find inspiration in all my ramblings. #loveelijah
