August 8th Back to School Celebration!

Great news!

The Back to School Celebration is officially on!

Yay!

Here are the details:

Date: August 8th
Time: 10:30-1:30
Place: Cagan's Crossing Library Room B (in the front lobby area)

There will be arts and crafts, character meet and greets, and free school supplies for children and families in need <3

I am so excited!

And you should be too!

Because you can help make this day even more special, by supporting our cause and donating today.

This is what your donations will go towards:

School Supply Packs.

Here's how it works.

I have donated the packs in to 2 categories: K-3rd and 4th grade and up.

The K-3rd packs will contain:

1 24 pack of crayons
1 pack of pencils
1 pencil sharpener
1 pair of safety scissors
1 ruler
1 box of tissue
1 travel size hand sanitizer
2 notebooks
3 prong folders with pockets

Total cost (estimated depending on brand variations and sales): $8.50

The 4th Grade and Higher packs will contain:

1 1' Binder
1 12 Pack of Colored Pencils
1 pack of pencils
1 pencil sharpener
1 pair of scissors
1 ruler
1 box of tissue
1 travel size hand sanitizer
2 notebooks
3 prong folders with pockets

Total cost (estimated depending on brand variations and sales): $10.75

If we raise the $200 (our current goal), I will be able to purchase approximately 20 additional packs.

That's a huge difference that you can help make.

And to make the deal sweeter, if you donate anything over $5, your name will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Visa Gift Card.

Here are several ways you can donate:

1. There is a paypal link at the top right hand corner of this blog.
2. You can mail actual school supplies to: The Giving Tree PO Box 135711 Clermont, Fl 34713
3. You can donate a Target Gift card via email: givingtreemobile@gmail.com (The benefit of this is that if I purchase target brand school supplies, for each item I purchase, Target will donate and item to families in need too!)

Together, let's make this back to school celebration amazing :)

Thanks always for reading!

Be Kind,
Kelly Airhart
