622: Portraits

It is 9:59pm.

Today I set up a little "sample" photo shoot with Gabriel.

It was the first time I have taken portraits in a while, and I still need some brushing up, but I think they came out really cute!

Tomorrow I will post sign ups for mini sessions. I have decided I am really going to have to be better than I was before with setting ground rules than I was before when I was taking photos. I love taking pictures, but running a photography business is no walk in the park. It can be really stressful.

And we all know that I am not great with stress.

Not to mention, this could open me up to taking photos of babies, which I will have to really have to figure out how I am going to handle that.

So for now, I am just going to ease into it and do seasonal mini sessions to see how it goes.

These will  help the kids with school supplies, vacations, and that type of thing. They, after all, are my reason for everything.

I am also going to set aside a portion from each session to do acts of kindness of Elijah. Or maybe put them away to start a 501c3.

But there I go again...dreaming.

First I actually have to get people to sign up for these things lol.

Anyways, today has been a little bit better emotionally for me. I think just because I was being somewhat productive. I don't know.

But I am going to be thankful for it.

Tomorrow Levi starts his new job, so please send him lots of love and positive thoughts and prayers.

I am so proud of him for all the hard work he has been doing.

Again, don't forget that Elijah's birthday is coming up. June 5th. I will probably be posting about it every night on the blog, just to make sure it is known. Sorry not sorry...but I want to make sure that he is remembered on his special day.
