857: Illustrations

It is 12:23am.

My dad likes to comment about how we are up all hours of the night, but those seem to be the times that my mind is most creative--or I have the most drive.

Tonight I stayed up to make some illustrations for my new book:

Also, we kind of live our lives in a way that doesn't always require a bedtime, or a wakeup time. So I think it is okay to stay up a little late sometimes. The world never sleeps....

Today I also got most of the door to Elijah's Little Library done. Tomorrow I hope to finish it. Tuesday it is supposed to snow. I am ready for warm weather and for this library to be done lol.

Not much else to report tonight. I am going to go take a hot bath and defrost my toes. I have a lot of illustrating, and editing ahead of me. But I guess some sleep wouldn't hurt.

Sending you all lots of love and creativity. I hope you are living your wildest dreams. If not, what are you waiting for?

Keep praying for our world. Pray for our Earth. Pray for each other. Pray for our families. Pray for our children. Pray for hope. Pray for love. Pray for peace. Pray for you. Pray for me. And always always pray for my sweet sweet Elijah.

Thank you.

I hope you like these illustrations I am making of you.
I struggle with them, because it hurts to not know what you would look like
as a little boy.
To me, you will always be my sweet little baby.
I love and miss you so much.
Always.

1,520 days: Overwhelm.

It is 8:49am. Everyone is still asleep... I have my "happy light" shining into my  peripheral  vision, and my vitamins and medic...
