Children's Book Week: Day 4

Today I didn't get to plan any fun activities, because I was on my way to Natchitoches, Louisiana to prepare for my live reading and book signing at Rocking Horse Book Store on Saturday.

Once we got to my dad's house (who lives in Natchitoches), we got straight to work going through boxes and boxes of stuff that we had left behind to someday bring back to Florida with us when we were homeowners.

Although, we are not quite where I wanted to be on the home owner journey, I am hoping that staying positive and preparing for our big move will get us there very soon.

BUT there is great news about today!

Today, on page 7A of my hometown newspaper, The Natchitoches Times, there was an amazing article about me and my journey to becoming the author of The Kind Knight.

I believe you can also view the article on The Natchitoches Times webpage: http://www.natchitochestimes.com/

It is a really big honored to be recognized in the place where my life began. My dad was super proud, and I am too.

Another good bit of information, another bookstore has contacted me to let me know they are adding The Kind Knight to their inventory :)

Big thanks to The Reader's Nook to giving The Kind Knight a new home.

Check out their webpage and show them some love: http://readersnookvi.wix.com/readersnookbookstore

Well, its late, and we still have a lot of work to do tomorrow...and by we, I mean mostly my husband...lol.

Thanks for reading :)

Be Kind,
Kelly Airhart

  1. I couldn't open the article in the Natchitoches Times. Perhaps because I'm using a tablet and not a desktop.
